Life’s better when you turn up the wattage.  Can I get an Amen? So, in keeping with the Rihanna philosophy of “shine bright like a diamond,” I up’ed the ante on this table by picking some basic items in my cupboards and reimagining them to give this table more style than RiRi herself.

Don’t be afraid to show off what you got in those cupboards girl!  As for the lace, I realized no napkin ring I had would do. So, some lace from last year’s Halloween and a pair of shears later and voila, place setting perfection.

I used a plain old card table in the living room.  Just like you wouldn’t go to the club and show off a picture of what you looked like an hour before without your face on and your hair-did, no one is going to see that what’s lurking under that chicness is a table that would frighten. And, the bonus is, unlike you and me at last call, when the lights come up, this table is still going look hawt.
